Sean Wytrwal is the photographer extraordinaire. He has over 20 years of experience as a photographer and has covered just about every genre of photography. But these days he has settled into two niches of photography. Commercial Photography and Senior Portraits are the bread and butter that keeps him going.

Why those specific niches?

Sean actually attended school at Hallmark Institute of Photography (sadly closed) with a concentration in commercial. He fell in love with commercial photography because of the technical creativity that was achieved with camera settings, lenses, in depth lighting, editing, and more. Something really cool about making a everyday inanimate object look cool and interesting.

Over his tenure as a photographer he got to photograph all kinds of different things. He did a lot of commercial photography (obviously by this point), model shoots, weddings, kids, families, newborns, events, and of course Senior Portraits. Photographing Seniors was one area of Photography that he surprisingly enjoyed. Why? Because Seniors are FUN and they love cool interesting photography. They allow him to try new things during these sessions that he normally wouldn’t be able to do. New locations, new techniques, new gear (love a reason for a new piece of equipment), and new poses are just some of the elements he has been about to incorporate into his sessions. He also loves the personalities and interests the Seniors bring to their session. No session is the same and he pushes to make each session unique to the Senior.
